pre-Roman Iberian town.
Some of the first settlers of this name or some of its
variants were: Juan de Grijalva, a Spanish "conquistador", who fought
in the conquest of Cuba in 1511, and was sent by Valazquez to explore
the Yucatan (Mexico) in the year 1518.
